Upload the notebook, choose export options, and download a .odt that keeps narrative, code, and saved outputs together in a standards-based office file. Public-sector teams and universities that standardize on open formats use this path when Word is optional and ODF is required for submission or archival.

Choose ODT when policy asks for OpenDocument; choose DOCX when the reviewer insists on Word. From Writer you can still export PDF later if a portal flips requirements. Plots must be saved inside the notebook before conversion—rerun and save if charts are missing; PNG embeds more reliably than SVG across office suites.
Secure server conversion — processed briefly, not stored afterward. That makes ODT export practical for coursework, lab notebooks, client deliverables, and proprietary models you cannot leave in a durable third-party archive. No signup gate for the usual flow: upload, set toggles, download .odt, open in LibreOffice, and continue editing with the tools your institution already licenses. Chromebooks and locked lab PCs work as long as you have a modern browser. Keep LibreOffice templates nearby if your department ships branded styles; you can paste content from the exported ODT into those templates without rebuilding plots by hand.
